IMPORTANT UPDATE: Federal Government Places Limit of International Arrivals
OVERVIEW
To limit the risk to community and strain on the hotel quarantine process the Australian Government will limit the number of international arrivals into Australia to 4,000 per day from Monday 13 July 2020.
The Government has also indicated that passengers arriving in Australia will be responsible for the cost of their hotel quarantine. This is a matter handled by individual states and will be communicated once they have firm plans. This is already actively in place in Queensland. This situation is still developing and more information will be shared once it is known.
ACTION
Passengers were advised to do online check-in before heading to the airport. If passengers are at the airport, we encourage you to speak to the airport locally for re-accommodation. If passengers are not at the airport, or the airport can’t help, please check the airline’s COVID19 policy for canceled flights.
