On this trip you will experience this majestic side of the Island. The first stop is Trou aux Cerf, whichis a dormant volcano with a well-defined cone and crater. It is 605 m (1,985 ft) high and located in Curepipe. Other stops of this trip includes a visit to Mare aux Vacoas, the largest reservoirs in Mauritius, Grand Bassin Sacred Lake. The Grand Bassin Lake Grand Bassin or Ganga Talao is a sacred lake, which is about 1800 feet above sea level and it is the most important Hindu pilgrimage sites outside of India. You will also have the chance to see the impressive statue of the god Shiva which is 33 meters tall and is the highest statues in Mauritius.
