Pantanal Adventure Tour

You have to wake up before the day light to see the sunrise and hear the sounds of the nature, especially birds. After the breakfast, you will spend about 2 – 3 hours walking through diverse habitats such as grasslands and higher areas with dense wood vegetation that serve as refuge to animals and birds during the wet season. When the Pantanal is flooded, you will walk in wet places and if you want, you can go across the bays walking, which makes your tour unforgettable. Lunch and rest on the hammocks. In the afternoon, you will experience Horseback Ride on typical Pantanal’s horse. The ride takes 2 hours through diverse habitats such as grasslands and higher areas with dense wood vegetation that serve as refuge to animals and birds during the wet season. You may see marsh deer, feral pigs, blue macaws, toucans and many other bird species. The horses are very well trained and there is helmet for safe. After breakfast you will separate a small backpack with clothes for only 3 days and your main luggage will stay in a safe place in the ranch until you come back from the wild Camp. Around 8am departure by jeep for our wild program in the Nhecolândia region. The first part of the transfer is in the Pantanal Park Road, a regular road, but the second part it’s only farming trails and on this part really starts the adventure in the Pantanal. The transfer to the wild camp is a photographic safari where can be spotted several species of animals and birds of the Pantanal like: Capybara, caiman, mash deer, raccon, armadillo, jabiru stork, toucans, parrots, hawks… The safari to the camp can takes about 4 up 5 hours. After your arrival at the wild camp you should set up your tent and help pick up firewood for the bonfire. If you want you can help the guide prepare the lunch. In the afternoon Breakfast Nature Trekking – on this activity you will spend about 2 – 3 hours walking through diverse habitats such as grasslands and higher areas with dense wood vegetation that serve as refuge to animals and birds. On the walking tour the guide will show and explain you about the plants and trees (medical use, use in construction and serving as food for humans and animals).Dinner and chat around the bonfire. After Breakfast, you will be transferred to Bonito . Free day to explore Bonito. Overnight in Bonito. Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast, our guide will lead you to explore another part of the Pantanal. We will do a full day in search for wildlife by jeep and by foot through diverse habitats such as grasslands, higher areas with dense wood vegetation, open field and you go visit the “Salinas” (a saline lagoon with salt water and white sandy shores, which are only found in the region of Nhecolândia). On this day also is possible go fishing, will be nice to catch some fish for dinner. Overnight in Tents. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

After breakfast, you’ll start tour coming back from the Nhecolândia to the Pantanal Park Road region. The lunch will be prepared on the way back to the same Ranch where you stayed on the first night. Time to rest and take part of the luggage you left before go to the wild camp. Transfer by jeep from the Ranch to the Passo does Lontra Village. After check-in at Passo do Lontra Lodge you go for a walk on the elevated boardwalk around of the lodge. The walk takes about 1hour and you have great chances of spot black howler monkey, capybaras, black caimans and several birds’ species and rest. Overnight in Bonito. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Our tour will explore the Miranda River, one of the most important South Pantanal Rivers. The adventure will be made in boat of aluminum equipped with engine and chairs for more comfort, since most of the tour will be in the boat. Will be possible get in the Red River (rio Vermelho) which is a tributary of the Miranda River. On this river you fill more chose to the nature once it’s a smaller river. Many birds can be spotted and with lucky you can see the giant otter. Miranda river will be a stop to climb the Morro do Azeite (Olive Hill), one of the only hills in the area, from where you can have a more comprehensive view of the Pantanal and sinuous Miranda river. The climb walk takes around 30-40 minutes and the panoramic view is worth the small sacrifice of the climb. After the visit to the Olive Hill we will stop for lunch and a short rest. On this day you will have natural sandwich and fruits. Depending of the environment (if there is a lot of water or not) will possible to do a nature walk around the gallery forest and opened field for search of wildlife. The return to the lodge will be in the end of the day and will be possible to spot light alligators and nocturnal birds. Overnight in Bonito. Meals: Breakfast, Box Lunch and Dinner

After the breakfast, the first of all you’ll take an engine boat and up the river stream for about 1h20min. After that you’ll get the canoe and dawn the river stream for about 2 hours until get to the Lodge. This tour is really nice because you can see and hear the nature’s song. Swing in the river is also a good idea. When you are in the canoes the boat gets around just for security. After lunch you will be dropped off at Buraco das Piranhas where you will take the regular transfer to Campo Grande. Overnight in Campo Grande. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
