The Best Islands of Ecuador Tour

On arrival at San Cristobal Airport, you will be assisted and transferred to your Hotel.   City Tour: After arriving at San Cristóbal you will visit the Interpretation Centre, where you will learn more about the origin of the archipelago, its fauna and flora, as well as the history and its first inhabitants. After that, you will hike for about 2 hours until Frigate Hill where you can enjoy the endemic vegetation and a beautiful view of the island and its surroundings. The main attractions here are the frigate birds. At the end of the day, you will visit Frigate Bay and do some snorkeling. Return to the hotel. Overnight in Quito. Free night

After Breakfast, you’ll leave early in the morning to take the boat and visit the Kicker Rock, which is known as one of the best places to do snorkeling and diving in Galapagos. There, you can see sharks, rays and different types of fishes. After the snorkelling you can chose one of the following beaches: Playa Ochoa, Playa Puerto Grande or Playa Mangelito. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the port and take a speedboat to Santa Cruz Island. The boat trip takes about 2 and a half hours. Upon arriving at Santa Cruz, you will be transferred to your hotel. Afterwards you will visit a ranch in the island’s highlands where we will be able to see Giant Turtles in their natural habitat. After breakfast, you will discover the diversity of the Galapagos Islands. Your tour consists of a hike around the island and afterwards you can snorkel, swim or just relax. North Seymour Island: The main fauna species of this island are Land Iguanas, the Magnificent Frigate bird with their incredible scarlet regular pouch, blue-footed boobies and their particular courtship dance and sea lions surfing across the waves. The lagoons of the Santa Fe Island provide an excellent place for snorkeling alongside colorful fishes, sea lions, giant tuna and even small sharks that are often cited in these environments. After breakfast, you will visit Charles Darwin Station. The center has abundant information on habitats and local conservation, as well as other fascinating relevant statistics. Their objectives are to conduct scientific research and environmental education for conservation. The Station has a team of over a hundred scientists, educators, volunteers, research students, and support staff from all over the world. There, you will visit the Tortoise Breeding Center, where it is possible to view tortoises of varied sizes and shapes. You will walk and get photos with the tortoises.
