LA PAZ CITY TOUR

After breakfast, you will do a four hours tour discovering La Paz´s multi-ethnic and cultural character visiting Los Andes street to admire handy artisans manufacturing traditional garments and festivity costumes. Then, you’ll walk around the Witches Market to get acquainted of the mystical rituals and indigenous cosmos vision and see the enormous handicraft market. Continuing the tour we will visit San Francisco Church, the historical heritage around the main square of La Paz “Plaza Murillo”. After, you will walk around the Legislative Palace, the Government Palace and the Cathedral. There you will have a breathtaking view of La Paz at Killi Killi lookout. Later on, we will lead you to Miraflores district to see the Open Air Museum about the Tiwanaku Culture. The end of the tour is visiting the southern residential districts of Obrajes, Calacoto and La Florida located very close to the Moon Valley where you will enjoy of a short walk. Return to the hotel. SUCRE

City Tour Half Day: In the Morning, our guide will bring you to visit the main museums of the city. There you can discovery history, textiles, ethnography and folklore and also see the most representative outdoors sites such as plazas, and parks, as well as the architecture. Your tour begins in the Textile Museum of Indian Arts ASUR, located in a beautiful colonial neighbourhood in Sucre. The second stop is in the Antropologos del Surandino (ASUR), that displays of regional textiles and traditional techniques. After, we will visit the traditional Tarabuco and Jalq’a textile areas. It exhibits traditional and contemporary textile production, a valuable Tiahuanaco collection and two music and dances halls. Later, you will see the Liberty House, formerly the Assembly Hall of the Jesuit University, where the country’s Declaration of Independence was signed. This house contains a famous portrait of Simon Bolivar. Its construction dates from 1621 as part of the Jesuits convent, later made a part of the building of the University, is the most important national historic landmark. City Tour & Casa De La Moneda (Half day): In the afternoon you will be transferred to Potosi. Potosi is one Potosi is one of the highest altitude cities in the world at 4,090 meters above sea level. During your travel, we’ll pass by the, Cobija Arch (the traditional entrance Arch to the colonial city of Potosi) and stop on San Lorenzo Church, a small stone church built around 1300. After, we will visit the Central Market. Actually, there are two markets side by side, the first selling clothing and the other selling food. After, you will appreciate San Francisco viewpoint, with a breathtaking view of the city. Then we will pass by the main square, La Merced Church (a colonial church built by the Spanishes) and Compañia de Jesús, one of the many examples of Mestizo religious architecture, a style which marries traditional Bolivian with colonial Spanish influences. DINOSAUR FOOTPRINTS

Cal Orck’o is the site of dinosaur footprints largest in the world, the footprints is located in the cliff El Molino. The geological age to which they belong is the Late Cretaceous. Cal Orck’o is the most spectacular site of its kind. It’s the only site that concentrates the footsteps of a wide variety of dinosaurs that lived at the ending of the Cretaceous period. Around 5055 individual dinosaur tracks at least 8 species and 462 trails are combined in a continuous cliff. Cretaceous Park is located 300 meters from the cliff of dinosaur footprints Cal Orck’o, the Cretaceous Park is the unique resort that offers the possibility to meet the actors in the paleontological heritage in one of the most authentic natural scenes in Bolivia. SALT FLAT TOUR

After breakfast, you will know the Salt Flat and the Tunupa Volcano. Your tour starts at the Ojos del Salar crossing the Salt Flat. The Salar is the world’s largest salt flat at 10,582 square kilometers. The Salar was formed as a result of transformations between several prehistoric lakes. It is covered by a few meters of salt crust, which has an extraordinary flatness with the average altitude variations within one meter over the entire area of the Salar. The crust serves as a source of salt and covers a pool of brine, which is exceptionally rich in lithium. It contains 50 to 70% of the world’s lithium reserves. Then, you will arrive at Tunupa Volcano. It stands on the northern side of the Salar de Uyuni at an elevation of 5,321m. There is a cave with several mummies about half way up and an ancient village at the foot with a modest “salt hotel”. There, you will explore Chantani Villagem the Coquesa Mummies and the Pukara in Ayque. After lunch, you will go back to your hotel. Overnight in Uyuni. Free Night. THE CAVES TOUR

After breakfast you will be picked up from the hotel to visit the Galaxy Cave, The Devil’s Cave and Incahuasi Island. The Galaxy cave is known for beautiful and spectacular rock formation, while the Devil’s Cave is known for contain human rest remain. Both caves were discovered in 2003. After seeing these different Caves, you will appreciate Isla Incahuasi. It is a hilly and rocky outcrop of land located In the Middle of The Salar de Uyuni. Incahuasi has a total area of 24.62 hectares and hosts gigantic cacti (Trichocereus pasacana). There are unusual and fragile coral-like structures and deposits that often consist of fossils and algae. The place is the top of the remains of an ancient volcano, which was submerged when the area was part of a giant prehistoric lake, roughly 40,000 years ago. Return to the hotel. Return to your hotel. COPACABANA TOUR

After Breakfast our guide will drive through the High Plateau towards the pre Incan remains of Tiwanaku, declared world heritage site by UNESCO in December 2000. There, you can enjoy great views of the Royal Range of the Andes. Upon arrival, we will visit the Lithic and the Ceramic Museums where you will receive an introduction about the Tiwanaku civilization, explore the archaeological site walking through the main temples such as the Pyramid of Akapana. After you will see the Semi underground temple, the Kalasasaya temple where you will find the Ponce monolith and the famous Gate of the Sun. Enjoy a set menu lunch at a local restaurant. Continuing the trip towards Copacabana, you will cross the strait of Tiquina which is the narrowest part of the entire lake, dividing the lake small section known as Wiñaymarka and the large section known as Chucuito. After, you will be able to see agriculture terraces built during the Chiripa, Tiwanaku and Inca civilizations. Return to your Hotel. Overnight in Copacabana. FREE NIGHT Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

SUN ISLAND TOUR

After breakfast, you will sail by motor boat towards the Sun Island (the south-eastern part of Lake Titikaka). You will visit Pilkocaina, the most important archaeological sites and hike up the hill to Yumani town. Continuing by boat, you will stop in the Inca´s Fountain and the Inca´s Staircase. There you can appreciate the old and interesting Inca’s Culture. After, you will enjoy the views of the lake and the Royal Range of the Andes. Return to Hotel. Overnight in La Paz.
